The term bisexual has evolved into an umbrella term encompassing the attraction for two or more genders. Originally defined as attraction to male and female, the modern understanding of bisexuality is far more inclusive and recognizes attraction across the gender spectrum. Q: What do the colors on the Bisexual Pride Flag represent?
On the Bisexual flag, pink represents attraction to femininity, purple represents attraction across genders, and blue represents attraction to masculinity. The flag was designed by Michael Page in 1998 to increase bisexual visibility within the LGBTQ+ community.
Q: Does Proud Zebra give back to the LGBTQ+ community?
Yes! We're a queer-owned small business, and a portion of every sale is donated to local LGBTQ+ charities and the pride festivals we set up at. We also have 6 awareness pride pins where 100% of the profits go directly to specific 2SLGBTQIA+ partners.
